My Minnesota - September - Apple Orchard

I'm a little behind on a little bit of everything these days. Somehow it was the beginning of September and now November is right around the corner. I hope this is a sign that winter will be past us before we know it. Here's to hoping...

September found us jumping right into fall activities. We knew we had a busy October so we decided to go to the apple orchard earlier than we usually do, and I've got to tell you, this is the way to go. We arrived right as they opened and had the place to ourselves. Well, not entirely, but it wasn't super crowded as it can be later in the season. It was wonderful and I'm going to try to remember to do this moving forward.

We have a fondness for Minnetonka Orchards - it's our go to orchard. It has a number of great kid's activities, farm animals, pick your own orchards, music, tractor rides, food, and more. I highly recommend it.

For the rest of September we soaked up as much time outside enjoying the cooler weather and the changing colors knowing that it was fleeting. As I write this, the season has taken a turn as it's snowing which makes me even more grateful for our time exploring the outdoors in September.
